Elsa Chi Abruzzo leads Anuncia Medical (established 2018) as CEO and President, and is a Founding Member. An engineer by training, she is a medical device executive with more than three decades in regulatory, quality, clinical, manufacturing, and operational leadership.

Her track record includes four M&A exits and one IPO: Percutaneous Valve Technologies (Edwards Lifesciences), AtriCure (IPO), Sapheon (Covidien/Medtronic), PTS Diagnostics (Sinocare), and Alcyone Therapeutics (Biogen). She has held senior roles at Alcyone (VP), AtriCure (VP), and Arthromeda (COO), built her foundation at Fortune 500 companies including Baxter and Johnson & Johnson, and founded Cygnus Regulatory.

She has contributed to five granted FDA Breakthrough Device Designations, is Regulatory Affairs Certified (RAC), and a Fellow of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (FRAPS).

Elsa served as Anuncia's General Manager from 2018 and has been CEO and President since October 2020. Under her leadership, Anuncia launched the ReFlow® Mini Flusher (Gen2), advanced the platform through two FDA Breakthrough designations, FDA TAP acceptance, 510(k) clearance, CE marking, and commercial rollout to leading US institutions, and closed over $15M in funding.
